Contract/Travelers Jobs AVailable

Palmer is hiring temporary/contract Welders and Fitters willing to travel for outages/projects. 

Must have experience welding pipe, pressure vessels, or structural. Must be experienced and qualified to weld Day 1 – no training or OJT will be provided, this is not a position to learn on the job.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
NCCER certification is preferred but not required.

Enter your information in Palmer’s database, and Palmer will contact you to request your availability for upcoming projects.  You will be provided job details to make your decision – pay, per diem, location, schedule – and can ask questions.

  • Top pay and per diem – paid weekly
  • Work schedules 5/6/7 days week x 8/10/12 hours/day
  • Locations vary – most projects located in TN, KY, NC, SC, AL, MS, LA, TX
  • Industries include chemical plants, oil & gas, power generation, cement/mining
  • Must pass drug screen and proposed weld certs on Day 1. Failed tests will be sent home with no reimbursement
